Feel like Mexican tonight?

Stomach’s grumble. Tongues salivate. Drums roll please. The scoop of the day is the super famous Taco bell restaurant chain is going to make landfall in India very soon!
The newswas broken by Business Standard. The lucky ones this time is going to be none other than the food city of Bangalore or Bengaluru. The Yum! chain which has successfully introduced us to Pizza Hut and KFC – each is a household name and one of the favourite food haunts for any age group (particularly teens to 30′s), will now hope to repeat its success story with Taco Bell.
What I find intriguing about Mexican food despite being different from Indian (obviously) it still has the Tortilla which is similar to the Chapathi and the Kidney beans used in the Mexican dishes again familiar to us as Rajma. So in other words when you go to a Taco Bell, it would be something like “same ka same, different ka different”!
What would be interesting to see is what Indianization happens to the menu. Like we have seen with Pizza Hut and KFC, will it feature Halal Tandoori Chicken and Sheek Kebabs rolled up in the tacos instead of beef and chicken?
