Hate exercise? Think again!

The best way to prevent illnesses, researchers have found, seems to be physical activity, preferably daily. No medication can prevent the positive health benefits of exercise.

The simplest of exercises with great benefits seems to be 30 minutes of walking about 5 times a week. It is said to “boost the body’s immune system, increasing the circulation of natural killer cells that fight off viruses and bacteria. And exercise has been shown to improve the body’s response to the influenza vaccine, making it more effective at keeping the virus at bay.”

On the contrary, medical experts say inactivity could lead to health risks like “heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, cancer, depression, arthritis and osteoporosis“.
